Hi, I'm Chris, a licensed aircraft engineer from Cyprus now living and working in Australia.
Airplanes have been my passion for pretty much my whole life and I've lived many ups and downs in this industry throughout my career.
I have faced countless obstacles and frustrations along the way with a stint of unemployment after 9/11 bringing my career and family life to an all-time low.
This ย time in my life helped me to realise that in this industry we always need a plan, and a back-up plan. We never know what's round the corner - take COVID for example.
My earlier struggles are always in the back of my mind and I never want to be jobless again.
That said, I never want others to be in that position either. So, my mission now is to help others have a solid plan A (with a back-up plan B), and extra qualifications to help them stand out from the masses when life throws unexpected events at us.
That is why I started The AME Membership.
My focus is on helping to remove obstacles and frustrations so that each INDIVIDUAL can progress in their career while also having a Plan B should things go wrong.
My goal for YOU is that YOU can reach a stage in your career, like me, where you have the luxury of choice. YOU choose where you work, who for, and how you work.
