Send me a copy ofĀ SRM Flashcard 1

This flashcard will help jog your memory and provide you with a list of all the required information when you are faced with structural damage on an aircraft.Ā Ā

This is a simple guide; it is not OEM specific and must not be used for Maintenance purposes.

Keep it somewhere handy for easy reference should you need it.

Inside our LMS members can take practise assessments to help them study.

The great thing is that they can get personalised feedback with an expert if they have incorrect answers which they don't understand.

Try a sample assessment and see how you are tracking. You will receive your score and the correct answers at the end.

Good Luck!

Send me a copy of Aircraft Maintenance Docs and their Purpose.

As you can appreciate, an aircraft comprises of over one million parts, each of which is subject to different ā€œtreatmentā€, be it on a day-to-day, or long-term basis.Ā  Our job as aircraft engineers, is to preserve the life of the aircraft and thus prolong the potential to make money from it for as long as possible.Ā  There areĀ dozens of documents/manuals known as the ICA, or Instructions for Continuous Airworthiness that are involved in keeping aircraft flying. I have put together a list of my Top 20 and what they are used for.

Send me a copy ofĀ The A320 Alpha Call Up List

Alpha Call Ups are aircraft system parameters which are displayed live as they happen, for the benefit of technical staff to observe data and repair faults.Ā

This data could be anything, from Aileron Positions (changes through movement), to Engine Vibrations, to how much Pressure is in an Air Bleed Duct when the Valve to that Duct is fully open, or throughout its transition till it is closed.

This list is what a A320 Maintenance Engineer has ā€œfor ease of referenceā€ when looking for the specific code for the specific detail.

Send me a copy ofĀ The First Tool Kit

The nature of your work will determine what kind of tools you need to do your job. If you are a B1 in Base Maintenance, the contents of your toolbox will be completely different than if you are in Line Maintenanceā€¦ A sheet metal expert will have a different set of tools than a cabin mechanic and so on.

So, with this in mind, I cannot give you a magic ā€œfit allā€ tool kit list, but I can provide you mine as an example, and a blank one for you to start making yours, as you will have to have such a list regardless of which Part 145 Organisation you work in.
